History of our Vision
Stephanie Davidson was 21 yrs. old when she was diagnosed with cancer. The cancer was incurable and she began to arrange her own funeral and even pick out her casket. One morning at her local Church service, she went forward to pray and was anointed with oil. God healed her!! She was cleared by her doctors to go on an upcoming missions trip with a team from Harlowton, MT Faith Chapel. April 2002 found Stephanie in in Slovakia, building a Church in in the city of Kosice. As the week came to an end Stephanie became wheezy in her lungs and weak. Team mates tried a hot shower to open her lungs, but it appeared she was having a severe asthma attack. As the team reached the nearest local hospital things looked bleak. There was an old wheelchair and an old typewriter in the room and not much else. Members of the team began praying My personal faith was shaken; I cried out to God, "How could this be happening on a missions trip for you? She is going to die right here in front of us." The Slovakian medical team thought she had a pneumo thorax and finally after much communication with translators, began an I.V. and she began breathing easier.
Out of this experience God moved in the heart of Dick Larson and placed a desire and a burden for the people of Slovakia. Montana Health Association was contacted and asked if they knew of any hospitals that would donate medical equipment for overseas. This response went out on email and the response was overwhelming. Equipment has poured in from all over Montana and also from Oregon that filled two warehouses in Harlowton, MT. As provision International continues to grow, we covet your prayers for money to ship containers, safety while traveling and continued guidance from the Lord.
