“Poverty is the ruin of the poor”

Proverbs 10:15

Through God’s orchestration farmers and mills contact us to donate their goods for us to send to places which have little or no food. Once the crop is harvested we work with local processors to get it cleaned to food grade specs and then bagged for shipping. We have had donations anywhere from 5,000 to 500,000 pounds.

We can fit 880 fifty pound bags of dried food in a container, which comes to 44,000 pounds of product that we can deliver  anywhere in the world. This much food can feed many people for many days.

The Farmers

God puts it on a farmer’s heart to feed the world’s hungry and we become the vehicle for that to happen.

Honestly, the majority of our donors are humble down to earth farmers that don’t want an ounce of recognition. They are speckled all across Montana, New Mexico, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming. Each year we are surprised by someone’s generosity.

Partners

You can die with a full stomach and die with nothing. It is vital that our partners on the ground are helping people live sustainable lives knowing there is nothing more sustainable than having a personal relationship with Jesus.

“We have 120,000 pounds of chick peas that we have been waiting to sell. But today, God put it on me and my wife’s heart to donate all of it to Provision International.”
